Who Anthony Was
Anthony Bellezza was known for his humor, sensitivity, and instinct to make other people feel included. Friends and classmates remembered the way he looked out for others, stood up to bullying, and brought kindness into the spaces around him.
Anthony's Journey with ADHD
Anthony was diagnosed with ADHD and dysgraphia at age seven. He faced challenges with impulsivity, school, and bullying, but with the right support he also found places where he could thrive, from martial arts and music to cars and motorcycles. He was preparing to attend Northwood University and pursue his passion for the automotive world.
Turning Loss Into Purpose
Anthony died at 18. In the grief that followed, Tony and Cassi heard story after story about the kindness he had shown other people. They made a promise to carry that kindness forward by helping children and teenagers with ADHD, and by giving families access to guidance and support that can otherwise be difficult to find or afford.
Anthony's Legacy Today
Anthony's Way – The Road to Kindness was created in his memory. The Million Orange Hearts campaign turns that legacy into action: every orange heart represents kindness, community, and direct support for families navigating ADHD. Anthony's story is where the movement began, and every heart helps move it forward.
